All menus offer three course meals and Saturday evening we offer a five course dinner. In addition to our Sunday Brunch, we offer six other performances and menu choices so we have many other options to choose from outside of the brunch buffet and we are confident we could exceed your expectations. Black Bear has been locally owned and operated in Wisconsin since the 1920’s. We could easily offer Coke or Pepsi and have in the past, but we support Wisconsin based companies and family owned and operated local businesses are important to us and Wisconsin. As far as our soda goes, we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Black Bear Soda. All menus are posted online on our website well in advance of our season opening. We will go back to the fresh fruit salad for other shows as our menus change from show to show and offer a diverse amount of variety. Recently we offered a fresh fruit smoothie for our live band review in January and February and received a tremendous amount of positive feedback on it and with a younger audience for Mary Poppins, the smoothie has been well received. For some shows we offer a fresh fruit salad. In regard to your comment about opening without a salad, our menu changes for every show, so for 2014 we have seven different menus. Unfortunately, we did not meet this goal with you. We at The Fireside aim for 100% guest satisfaction and as difficult and challenging as that may seem, considering the several hundred thousand meals and customers we serve on annual basis, that is our goal.

Our brunch happens to be one our most popular and highly attended performances over the years due to the quality of the brunch buffet so we were surprised to read that you did not enjoy it.

That said, we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations in regard to our Sunday Brunch. We are very excited to read that you enjoyed Mary Poppins The Musical on our Opening Weekend! The show is very popular and off to a great start.

Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to communicate with us.
